Purpose of RAM

RAM or 'Random Access Memory' constitutes the working memory of a computer, it is used for storing loaded programs and the data programes in use. Depending on the amount of gigabytes of RAM you have in your computer you can multi-task more, having data and applications running in the background, while using multiple programs like games, music, web browsing, etc. The more gigabytes of Ram you have means the more you can do without your computer slowing down, the less gigabytes of RAM you have, the less you can run at once and the slower your computer will be.
